What is Colour Therapy?
ChromoTherapy is a method of treatment of diseases by color. It is best used as a supportive Therapy along with other natural methods of preserving health such as correct diet, adequate rest and relaxation, exercise, yogic asanas and so on. According to practitioners of chromoTherapy, the cause of any disease can be traced to the lack of a particular color in the system.Color Therapy is a technique of restoring imbalance by means of applying color to the body. There should be a balance between colours to remain healthy. If warm colours, Red, Orange, Yellow are in excess in body, the body will have diseases of Heat. If cool colours, Blue, Violet, Indigo are in excess in body, the body will have diseases of Cold. Also, since each colour has distinct properties, excess of any colour will result in the excess of that property. Hence, we try to balance the colour in the body in this system of ChromoTherapy. In this Therapy, use of following methods is made :;

* Sun-charged coloured water
* Sun-charged coloured air for breathing
* Sun-charged coloured oil or ghee
* Gemstones or crystals
*Coloured clothes/lenses/candles, etc
* Coloured food items
