Academy of Holistic Sciences is an NGO conducting various courses
on Holistic Sciences, e.g. Diploma in Naturopathy & Yoga, Diploma
in Acupressure, Diploma in Magnetotherapy, Diploma in Bach Flower
Remedies, Diploma in Aroma Therapy, Reiki Mastership, Diploma in
Vastu, Diploma in Art of Tarot Reading, etc etc.
As President, Academy of Holistic Sciences, has been teaching
various Holistic Sciences (as mentioned above) for over two
decades. For all the courses, he has prepared the Study Material
for each course in a simple language for beginners/students.
Activities :
As Vice President, NIAHSNI and Vice President, Yoga Confederation
of India, sister organisations of AHS, has conducted following
programmes:
i. A Holy Yagya, for the inmates of Tihar Central Jail No.2
with a view to achieve Holistic Health for All.
Yagyas have been the inherent part of Indian culture. Whatever be
the function, there is a Yagya for it. Yagyas are not related
to
religion only. Yagyas were also performed for maintenance of
health. Various kinds of herbs, used as Samigri in the Yagyas,
have different medicinal and therapeutic values. In view of the
above, this Yagya is being performed for maintenance of health.
Various experts on Yagya, like Swami Jagdishwaranandji, Aryasamaj,
Burari, Pt Gopal Sharma, Delhi, Swami Vatsalyaji, Rishikesh, Pt
Ram Gopal Shastri, Delhi and Pt Tripathiji, Shantikunj, Hardwar
shared their experiences and views on the importance of Yagyas for
health.
ii. Conducted XVIII Delhi State Cham
pionship, 2003, in
collaboration of Yoga Association of Delhi.
iii. A Holistic Health Check-up, Sugar Testing and Consultation
Camp at State Bank of India, New Delhi premises.
iv. A Naturopathic Camp on AIDS on the World AIDS Day for
Suhana Safar (STD/HIV/AIDS Prevention Program) in Sanjay Gandhi
Transport Nagar for the truck drivers.
v. Furthermore, our sister organization Yoga Confederation of
India, organized a National Seminar on Yoga. Various topics
discussed in this Seminar were: Standardization of nomenclature of
various Yoga Asanas, Fixing Age Categories for male and fem
ale for
conducting Championships, and Set of Asanas for each age group for
competition, Standardization of Evaluation System for Yoga Sports,
Application of Yoga for enhancement of performance in various Yoga
disciplines, Application of Naturopathy for enhancement of
performance in various Yoga disciplines, Ways and Means to
popularize Yoga in schools and colleges, etc. The event was
organized by Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy,
New Delhi and General Association of National Sports Federations.
vi. Another seminar on Yoga for Peace was also
organized in which various yog experts from all over the world
participated and discussed in detail how yog can be usefully
implemented for world peace.
III. Editor, Holistic Rays
Holistic Rays is a bimonthly magazine on Holistic Sciences. (At
present this magazine has been stopped for economic reasons).
